NYMBO Update
Gilling East Lanequest
It was a relief to have some pleasant winter weather to ride in again after the last event. John Dixon planned a challenging course based on the Fairfax Arms. Andy Conn won comfortably again visiting 17 controls - 2,27,3,23,22,12,11,17,16,21,26,19,30,24,18,20,6. Richard Johnson managed an impressive 292 points in second place with Janine and Kevin Edwards showing the advantage of riding tandem to win the Mixed category with 270 points. Angus Wells won the M40 class with 252 points; Steve Foster and Geoff Moorhouse teamed up to win M50 with 250 points. There were only 3 Generation teams this month but Andy & Tom Parsons won with 210 points.
Gilling Woods were out of bounds as they are private and it is still the pheasant shooting season. The Howardian Hills are set in beautiful countryside so hopefully you will return for the June weekend when you will be able to compete in the woods on Saturday and see the whole area on Sunday.
Unfortunately, due to an ‘oversight' I only charged full TCA members £2 and associate members £4 when it should have been £3 and £5 respectively. If you didn't settle up afterwards please can you pay the extra £1 at the next event?
