NYMBO Update
Appleton Roebuck Lanequest
Thanks to Paul Crane for planning an excellent event and manning the start and finish. I enjoyed riding along the quiet country lanes and through pleasant villages but kept my fingers crossed on some of the bridleways where the hedges had been trimmed. At the beginning of the week I was concerned about the weather and lack of entries but the weather and number of entries improved all week so that we nearly ran out of maps. The Shoulder of Mutton coped well with the extra customers and made an excellent event centre. Congratulations to the category winners -
John Houlihan who won overall (and managed to beat Andy Conn by 3 points), John Dixon in M50, Karen Blackburn in W21, Mark & Julie McLean in X21 and Will & Lara Wilson in the Generation class.
